The Austrian Fundraising Congress, Vienna, 10th & 11th October, 2011
07 September 2011
The Austrian Fundraising Congress will take place in Vienna on 10th & 11th October, 2011.
It is billed as "A truly international affair", with many international speakers and sessions in English. The second day (11th October) is particularly suited to English-speaking fundraisers and will have four English sessions. Rob Cope (Remember a Charity, UK) will deliver a session on legacies while Jacob Rolin (International Fundraising Consultant from Clayton Burnett) will give keynote speech on using your charity's top story line to engage donors. In addition you can learn from Andrea Aguilar (Doctors Without Borders, Spain) about how a very successful campaign entitled “Pills for Other People’s Pain” raised €3m in just 3 months. Another highlight of the day will be the session entitled “I Have a Dream” from Sven Schumacher (Foundation for Lutheran Child and Family Services, Indianapolis), on how a capital campaign can make your big ideas a reality.
Members' of Fundraising Ireland can register at the following special rates: €280 (one day), € 480 (two days) – this represents a discount of 25% on the normal congress fees!
