New Website Uses Social Media to Benefit Charities
10 February 2011
Discerning shoppers looking for the best offerings by local businesses can have hot deals delivered directly into their email inbox thanks to a new service offered by GoSave.ie/Deals.
The new website uses the power of social media to link businesses with more customers, and provides consumers with opportunities to try out products and services they may not have otherwise considered.
GoSave.ie/Deals has a bonus feature that aids fundraising for local causes through a percentage donation from every purchase made through the site. If you would like your charity featured, just contact info@gosave.ie.
Businesses in various counties can advertise their exclusive deals for free, and GoSave members can purchase vouchers for these offerings online.
The deals only become valid when a certain number of people have purchased an offer, so members are encouraged to use their social networking to tell friends about them and make it happen.
“The average GoSave member has 174 friends on Facebook – the potential is incredible,” says Emmett Gallagher, Director of GoSave.ie/Deals. “Many shoppers are not necessarily looking for the lowest price, but just an opportunity to try something new.”
"With this innovative service, everyone wins. Businesses build a new loyal client base, shoppers get great deals and tell all their friends about it, and a portion of the money benefits a local charitable organisation."
