EFA Skillshare/Continued Professional Development

The European Fundraising Association (EFA) is the umbrella body of
fundraising associations across europe. Every year it hosts an annual
'Skill Share' meeting where all of the national fundraising associations
in Europe get together to share skills, knowledge and best practice.
This enables each national associaton to keep up to speed with developments in fundraising across europe and provide their members with mutual benefits including reduced rates to conferences run by other affiliated fundraising institutes and organisations.
This years' 'Skill Share' took place in Krakow, Poland on 18th and 19th November. Fundraising Ireland was represented by its Business Development Manager, Ed Hurrell.
The most exciting development to come from the 2010 'Skill Share' is that The Institute of Fundraising, UK has kindly offered a partnership to Fundraising Ireland so that we can deliver a version of their brand new Contined Professional Development Programme, which will be especially adapted for Irish fundraiser.
Work
will commence on these plans in early 2011 and we will announce more
updates as and when we have them.
