Green Shoots: Fundraising Out of a Recession

The 2010 National Conference for Fundraisers in Ireland.

Fundraising Ireland national conference 24 March, Croke Park.

When? Tuesday 23 and Wednesday, 24 March 2010
Venue: Croke Park Conference Centre

Fundraising Ireland is delighted to present Ireland's flagship National Fundraising Conference taking place on 23-24 of March 2010 in Croke Park. The theme is 'Green Shoots: Fundraising Out of Recession'. This unique conference has been designed by fundraisers, for fundraisers, people who know what the real challenges are out there for you right now. We have specifically chosen the sessions and speakers who can provide great advice, practical tips and essential 'know-how' to help you, regardless of whether you work in the charity, arts, culture, education or sporting fields, or whether you work in a 3-person or a 300-person organisation.

A Conference for Fundraisers Everywhere

In order to ensure the sessions appeal to delegates, we are running three parallel workshop sessions throughout the day and all delegates will be asked to pre-register for their preferred sessions. This year we have developed the workshop programme along three tracks which delegates can choose from for each of the three available time slots in the day: 1) workshops of general interest across all levels, experiences and sectors; 2) workshops dedicated to specific areas of interest in fundraising, and 3) workshops focused at senior fundraisers and CEOs.

Meet, Greet, Share & Learn

As you can see, we have lined up some fantastic speakers from both Ireland and overseas and we invite you to network with all the speakers and the other delegates at our inaugural post-conference drinks reception immediately after the conference close.

The Masterclass Programme

An additional innovation for this year is our Masterclass Programme, taking place on the afternoon of 23 March in the Croke Park conference centre. There are two masterclasses and each is restricted to a maximum of 30 participants. These sessions are targeted at fundraisers who want an in-depth challenging work-out with two of our prominent international speakers: Tony Myers and Stephen Pidgeon.

Ask the Professionals

This year we are also continuing our very successful 'Ask the Professional' mentoring sessions at lunchtime and also immediately after the conference where delegates can sign up to spend 15 minutes with one of the many fundraising professionals and speakers that will be in attendance on the day.

Who should attend?

Whether you're a zero or a hero at fundraising, there will be something in this conference for you.

The conference is geared towards people engaged in fundraising in the areas of charity, health, arts & culture, community, overseas development, education or sport. People new to fundraising, middle level or experienced fundraisers will all find an appropriate track to suit their levels.

The sessions are best suited for those people who are employed to undertake or be responsible for fundraising, regardless of their job title.
